On behalf of my uncle I'm raising funds for my cousin-brother's treatment.

I am A. Arumugam, from Aruppukottai, Tamil Nadu in India. I am working as a teacher in a Private school. I have two children, a girl aged 14 and a boy aged 12. On 10th of December,2018 my son had suddenly started vomiting in the school premises and there was continuous leakage in his gums. 

We were shocked and we took him to a nearby hospital; the doctor advised us to carry out blood tests to identify the disease and start the diagnosis. 

In his blood reports, it was stated that his WBC count has increased up to 3 lakhs (against 10,000) and blood platelet count has decreased below 50,000. On seeing the report the doctor has told us that, because of the increase in WBC count, the blood has become denser. He also mentioned that he would start feeling tired constantly due to low supply of blood to the organs and that it may be the symptoms of cancer and asked us to consult an Oncologist.
We consulted an oncologist in Chennai, they have carried out many tests and as per the final report they have confirmed it as B-ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia), a type of high- risk cancer. The treatment will be carried out in 2 stages; The cost of treatment will be 20 lakhs (8 lakhs for stage-I & 12 lakhs for Stage-II). As we belong to a middle class family, it is hard for us to arrange that much big amount.

Name of my child is Karthick, 12 years, at present he is admitted in Apollo Specialty Cancer Hospital, Teynampet, Chennai.
