Hi,
My name is Krishnaprasad K and I am an IT professional working in Bangalore.
I am trying to raise funds for my apartment security guard (In Kerala, India), Mr.Manikandan. He needs to undergo "Cytoreductive surgery(CRS)" as he has extensive cancer spread to peretoneum, omentum, abdominal wall and the liver.
Mr Manikandan does the security guard job in my apartment and his monthly salary is Rs.11000/-. His wife goes to house hold work and get a monthly income of Rs.8000/-.
The symptoms of cancer was started back in 2018 (before Covid) and from there onwards he had to switch his original job (welding) to a security guard which is less intensive. The CRS surgery requires an equipment and the cost of that itself is Rs.3 Lakhs. Then we don't know the rest of the charges for admission (Even though it's going to be conducted at a Govt hospital in Thrissur), next set of lab tests, monthly scans etc.
They stay in a rented house and have two kids of which elder one study in Class 11. Unfortunately the family can only survive the whole month with the amount that they get and taking up the surgery cost is not something they can imagine. They don't own a home, land or gold that they can think about selling to earn some cash. The hospital report and doctor notes are attached with this.
Rs.600000/- is what we want to gather so that he gets some breathing space to cover up the medical expenses with out burdening the family, kids etc (Even after the surgery). As the amount required is huge, I request you to kindly contribute towards the treatment and help during this time of need.
