Happy #SuperBowlSunday it’s also my birthday!  I need your help in raising money for Manasadhara Trust, Shivamogga (a small town 150 miles away from my hometown Bangalore India)to fund special needs education for children of all ages.

During my recent visit to India in Oct 2022 (& Shivamogga), I had a great opportunity to tour this school with Dr.Vidya Javali. She has dedicated herself to working on this effort of rehabilitating both adults and kids for a long time. I first hand witnessed the efforts put in by the teachers to help the socially stigmatized children and their families. I asked them how they get funded and the response was "if the family cannot afford anything it's free (in most cases)". So financial limitation does not restrict anyone from getting these services. With limited funding, the school builds its own durable sustainable equipment for kids with SMA  and cerebral palsy and provides Rehab Services. The mission of the school is to help families overcome hurdles in providing basic education to physically, learning, and mentally challenged kids and to help these kids thrive in their communities.

There is a lot of ground to be covered, your donation will give both the teachers and the parents a new lease of life to access resources for special education.
