Manasa, my 16-year-old cousin in India, was diagnosed with Hepatitis A in January. Her primary care physician assured us that she would recover with conservative treatment; however, she did not. Her condition worsened, and she has progressed to liver failure. The doctors also suspect Wilson’s disease (awaiting results), and she is currently awaiting a liver transplant. Her father does not have health insurance, and all medical expenses are out-of-pocket. As we all know, any organ transplant requires lifelong care and treatment.
Manasa deserves everything that life has to offer, but things have taken a very wrong turn for her. Please consider donating to help alleviate her medical expenses.
Your help is greatly appreciated.
