My 22-year-old wife Mahima Kumari has been diagnosed with Acute Leukaemia, a type of blood cancer. She is undergoing chemotherapy but things have been really tough.The news came as a big shock to us. We couldn’t accept the reality. Nevertheless, we decided to fight it.
She had to visit the hospital thrice a week to get her chemotherapy done. The whole process is very painful and she became very weak.
“Every day when she would return from the hospital, she would collapse on the bed. I can’t watch her suffer so much but I was helpless. In the back of my mind, I am not sure how long I will be able to sustain the treatment. I want to save her but due to my financial constraints my hands are tied,”
I did not want to give up on my wife's life, so we started giving her the best treatment but the cost is unbearable. The Estimated amount for her treatment is 20 Lakhs but we are struggling to arrange the funds on such short notice.
