Fundraiser - Help my husband, Lokesh Duggal, in his fight against Acute Liver Failure with a liver transplant.

We are fundraising for my husband, Mr. Lokesh Duggal, who is battling for his life in the ICU currently in Max Hospital, Saket, New Delhi. He was admitted to ILBS hospital, following acute liver failure and now the doctor has given Liver Transplant as the only option for saving his life. Lokesh has been a fighter all his life and has taken all hardships, personal or financial with a smile on his face. He has been in the ICU since the day of his admission and on critical care support since then, his situation remains serious and over the course of time, there have been additional complexities to his overall health situation. Doctors have suggested a liver transplant as the only chance for his survival. So far, the cost has been managed through insurance and personal funds.

The estimated cost for his hospitalization and ICU care has been approximately INR 30,00,000 (INR 30 lakhs / 36,735 USD ) and doctors have indicated a long hospital stay. With his current condition and extended critical care stay in the hospital, medical care is climbing beyond our means. We are incredibly grateful to all of you who have constantly kept in touch with our family and are praying for my husband's speedy recovery and his return home very soon.

We are now reaching out to all of you kindhearted souls to donate through this funding campaign to help my husband recover and return home soon. We greatly appreciate it if you can share this with family and friends and help us spread the word.

Any level of financial assistance to the family through these troubled times is much appreciated. No matter how big or small your contribution is, we accept your contribution with equal appreciation and are deeply grateful for your kindness. Donations in INR are tax exempted / deductible u/s 80G of the Indian Income Tax Act. Donors can check for the note '80G tax benefits for INR donations' below the 'Donate Now" button on the fundraiser.
