Who we are, and why we are reaching out
Learning Curve Foundation works with over 24,000 underserved children in Telangana with the vision of enabling them to be emotionally balanced, socially responsible and make informed choices.
The COVID situation has hit our children hard – in ways that are not obviously evident.
The lockdown has created a lot of stress, anxiety and isolation for them, which not only impacts their mental health and well-being, but also affects their ability to continue learning. The effect of isolation, fear and restrictions on children, particularly within the age group of 6-15 have long term effects which can leave its mark for years to come.
Given their limited financial resources and lack of access to support, this is fast becoming urgent and critical.
How your support will make the difference
In the last 3 months, we have reached out to over 10,000 children to help them manage their emotions, build resilience, handle uncertainty and cope with stress - all essential for mental health and well-being
Our ‘Connect @ Home’ program is now reaching out to another 10,000 children to support them at home in the following ways:
Your support to this cause is vital. A mere Rs. 1000 per child will ensure that these young minds feel protected through this crisis
How your donation is utilized (per child cost)
For all donations $50 and above, you will also receive access to 2 e-toolkits that you can use at home with your children or with other children that you support.
Help us make mental immunity real for these children. Thank you.
