Creative Welfare: Covid19 Relief Fundraiser for Lacquer Toys Artisans

Creative Welfare is an initiative by the Indian Design Society to promote and protect the interests of indigenous artisans.

Collaborating with Hastaya Vikas yevan sahayata samooh, Banaras,  Indian Design Society aims to help Lacquer toys artisans of Banaras- financially, along with promoting and acknowledging their artisan practices.

One of the great ways of collecting donations is crowdfunding, and InDe wishes to collaborate with Milaap for the same. Being a nonprofit organization itself, InDe has promoted and preached Indian Design through various platforms and made people aware of Indian heritage in the field of Design.

We request you to make a contribution, however small or generous. While some shall survive the onslaught, this Lacquer Toy cluster in Varanasi has made a plaintive plea for help. A sum can help a house of 4 to 5 members which up to a month's ration.
