About KMR Govt Jr College :

Until the year 1960 there was no High School in and around Bommasamudram, Gudipala Mandal, Chittoor. Only few people were able to go to high schools in Vellore or Chittoor. Then Sri KM Reddy (Konda Muni Reddy ) who was educated in Shanthi Niketan in Calcutta returned to his native place and was determined to establish a high school in his locality.
With the help of local people in terms of land, money and their effort he was able to successfully establish a High school which was highly successfully in educating a complete generation. students from the School served in various public and private organization making the whole region around the school literate. Later the school was extended to Jr college.
Need for Digital Class Room:

With the advancements in technology learning is not just limited to class room teaching and the practical labs its much more than that.
To enhance the student learning by making use of latest technology and tools it was decided to set up a digital class room at the college to benefit the students.
To accomplish the above Need I have started this campaign to raise funds for procuring a Projector, Computer and the components required to set up a digital class room.
