Hello Everyone,
I am Kaveesha. I stay with my mom in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Our lives started to go downhill from the year 2018, we were getting financially broke and now to this extent that we are starving and have no one to ask for help. We are on debts, we are behind on rent, electricity bill (which will cut-off) and we are not even getting to eat once a day. It is like neither could we die nor could we live. We lost all our documents, clothes, utensils, utilities, furnitures and belongings to the former house we used to stay at rent, where we couldn't pay rent for several months and the landlord locked our belongings in the house and he did not give back my birth certificate also.
We are struggling for years and starving for days. We lost everything. We need funds to get to a stage where a normal person can survive. We need to get a gas stove and cylinder to cook, need to get food and groceries, we need to pay debts that we took initially , we need to pay rent and utility bills and above all we need to do a small startup so that we can start earning a living. My mother is mentally exhausted for all the things that has happened.
I could not even continue my education after class 7 due to financial crisis. My mother get me into an English medium school ICSE Board which is why my English is good even if my education is not completed! She always tried to give me the best education & medical treatment as she never wanted to compromise in these two! My father never looked after us! We at least need to buy some clothes, a bed and a mattress (as we are laying on the floor with one toshak and a torn bedsheet), a wardrobe. Without these one cannot imagine life and we are struggling to survive. We need to get back to our normal lives and we could not survive being like this anymore. Please help us so that we can feel how a normal life feels like and we want to work for ourselves to bring food at our table. Your each contribution will be turning our lives from hell to heaven. Please help us reach that goal or stage where we can say that humanity and kindness is still left some.
We are not receiving any kind of local help like food banks nor any NGO or anything is helping us with food as no one tries to help with cooked or homely food. They tried to help with ration, groceries but we could not make it due to our loss of furnitures and everything.
Please help us recover from this situation as soon as possible and get back to our feet. Share as much as humans you know on this earth so that we can receive help, kindess and generousity of those. Each contribution will reach our hearts, I promise and you are going to definitely change our lives at some point with the contribution you are making and congrats for that! That's all. Our previous landlord has seized all our belongings as the rent was not paid. Help us recover our belongings and documents which can help us in a far better way and getting back my birth certificate is mainly most important, would still try recovering as much as possible but will require your support, prayers and hopes to bring success to it. Purchasing some basic furnitures like a bed, a mattress to avoid sleeping on the floor, some utensils, gas oven and refilling gas cylinder to cook food
