My name is Karishma Bisht and I am here to raise funds for my friend Kamal, 23 years old. We both work for the same organization in Delhi.

Early this year Kamal was diagnosed with Leukemia also known as Blood Cancer. He is currently admitted to AIIMS Delhi. With his initial symptoms he had lost 10% of his body weight, when he was taken to RML. Doctors informed them that his body had stopped making blood. After some painful bone marrow tests, doctors were still not clear on the root cause. They anyway, went ahead with blood transfusion and referred him to AIIMS Delhi.

Kamal went through another blood transfusion in AIIMS Delhi and was under observation for a few days. He was given another appointment for next month.
But as soon as he got home, his health worsened and was taken back to AIIMS in emergency, again. Doctors refused to admit him saying his appointment is not due until next month.

Some family friend then referred to SMS hospital in Jaipur where he was now diagnosed with Leukemia (Blood Cancer). He underwent HIDAC chemotherapy with 2 induction and 3 consolidation. Kamal was admitted for 8 months.

Post which doctors informed that all cancer reports are negative. He was discharged.After a successful treatment, his cancer relapsed in September 2022. He is undergoing his treatment in AIIMS Delhi. Kamal needs 15 Lakh INR for his treatment.

With last chemotherapy he has lost vision in an eye. His journey has been exhausting and he needs all the support he can get.
