My name is (Jason) Chung Kwat Yuan, and I am reaching out today with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit. My father Chung Tah Chie, a beloved chef and the backbone of our family, is currently battling an aggressive form of lung cancer. This devastating diagnosis has turned our world upside down, and we are struggling to give him the fighting chance he deserves.

Just two years ago, my father faced his first battle with cancer – a tough fight against colorectal cancer. We managed to get through it with limited resources and the incredible support of friends and family. However, the strain of that period left us financially exhausted. Despite his passion for cooking, my father had to give up his work at the restaurant he loved, as any physical exertion posed a severe risk to his health.

Today, our family faces an even greater challenge. My father requires immediate chemotherapy and radiation, followed by 24 sittings of immunotherapy to have a fighting chance against this aggressive cancer.
