My mother Jaya Manikam had a fall and was admitted in the Holy Spirit Hospital for hip bone surgery on 22nd May, but irregular heartbeat was observed after the admission.
Hospital had to do an Angiogram on her where they discovered there are 7 blockages in her heart out of which 5 were above 80%. So a cardiac bypass surgery was carried out on 29th May. The orthopedic surgeon was supposed to do the hip bone surgery on 5th June Friday, but due to her low blood pressure and because she was not fully stable for the next surgery, the Hospital rescheduled the surgery to be conducted on 8th June.
As part of the new protocol, before any surgery, hospitals are required to do the COVID-19 test.
On 7th June Sunday, the hospital discovered that my mother showed mild symptoms of COVID so now she has been moved to a special ward for the treatment and they can't perform the hip bone surgery until her next COVID-19 test is negative.
Note - When they did the first COVID-19 test on 23rd May, she tested negative because of which hospital was able to do the Bypass (heart) surgery.
Request your help and support for an additional amount of INR 4.5 Lakhs for the COVID Treatment and hip bone surgery which will be done post she is tested COVID negative. Also the post surgery intensive care which will be needed for her good recovery that will comprise physiotherapy, medicines etc. as she won't be in a state to work and she won't have any income for a long time.
