Jasmitha was born to loving parents who were distraught when she did not attain speech . Only on extensive medical evaluation showed that she had a complete lack of inner ear development which resulted in deafness and as a result she will have no speech as well.  She's otherwise an astute and clever child, caring and friendly.. The parents have been told that her only chance of getting some speech and hearing is by s cochlear implant. Which would cost them 14 lakh Rs. This is an insurmountable task for the lower middle class family to put together this amount. Time is of essence as sooner the intervention better is her chance of recovery. Tried as they might in two years to arrange the finances, the parents are helpless and now desperately pray and seek help to Jasmitha hear  and be heard ..
