My name is Tanusree Sarkar.I am trying to raise funds for my father, Jahar Lal Sarkar (72 years).
My father was absolutely fit and fine until he was diagnosed with Mucormycosis which is known as Black Fungus following the maxillary sinusitis operation in Apollo Gleneagles Hospital.
The expensive treatment started with the Liposomal Amphotericin B. But due to the side effects of this strong nephrotoxic drug on the 4th day he almost collapsed with major heart failure i.e bradycardia ( there has been Acute kidney failure with pulmonary edema). Thereafter he had 4 more bradycardia episodes in a span of a few days and doctors have not yet identified the exact root cause of all these. My father had near-death experiences and he is fighting for his life for the last 24 days. Till now the cost of treatment is 2.4 lakh(initial operation cost) + 18lakh (since the black fungus treatment began on 1st July).2 medical boards have been arranged by Apollo doctors,even they are referring doctors from outside ,but the root cause is still not identified .My father's condition is not improving - he is in niv support and on and off in ventilation ,we don't know where is the ray of hope.
Therefore request you all to donate and save my father's life.
