Jade Valley School was born out of a sacrifice made by Mr. Bhasker Paul and Mrs. Ashalata Paul, when Mr. Paul left his high-paying government job to realise his vision of providing education to the underprivileged children in Mandagadde, Shimoga, Karnataka.For over 27 years, Mr. and Mrs. Paul have been providing quality English education and nutritious meals to the children from low-income, migrant worker and tribal communities. They have covered a lot of the cost towards the cause out of their own pockets. Despite the unwavering commitment of the faculty and staff for over 27 years, the school lacks the necessary resources to continue providing comprehensive education to its students.
Jade Valley is the only English medium school within a 10 km radius providing high-quality education to children from kindergarten to 7th standard. Due to unavailability of external funds, keeping the school running has become a challenge.
The aim is to ensure that education is accessible to all. Jade Valley believes that better infrastructure and access to resources can make a significant impact on the community, and they hope to serve as an example of the positive influence education can have.
