We Need To fight this Together
This Funding is an initiative taken by “High On Life Foundation” based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.Food is the basic necessity and thus,This will highlight and help the poor who are struggling for shelter and daily meals.Meal packages are distributed and are made available across Gujarat.
We are distributing three meals on different time intervals.
Our target is to reach maximum people in the entire campaign for 30 days once we have enough funds and capacity to fulfill.
Our teams and head volunteers are distributed across different locations and pick up points have been assigned for people to know where to pickup meals for themselves.
Activities are already running from a week and we see a very positive response from volunteers to new volunteers joining to help.
The local municipal body and local police have been very cooperative to help us reach out to maximum people and help them.
Now we are looking forward for level 2 with additional funding.
Level 1 : target 500 people
Level 2 : target 1000 people
Level 3 : target 5000 people
Level 4 : target 10000 people
Considering to reach 500 people per day as of now, the estimated is below.
1st meal : Breakfast (7am to 11am)
Includes :
1 packet marie biscuit - ₹10 x 500 = ₹5000
1 water bottle - ₹5 x 500 = ₹2500
1 plate poha - approx ₹10 (total made poha to feed more than 400-500 people in different locations) total approx cost : ₹5000
Total breakfast expenditure to feed 500 people : approx ₹12500 / day
2nd Meal : Lunch box (12.30pm to 3pm)
2 chapatis
Dal
Sabzi
Rice
1 Lunch box approx cost : ₹ 100 x 500 = ₹50000 / day
3rd Meal : evening snack (5pm to 7.30pm)
Same as breakfast meal
Approx cost : ₹ 12500 / day
We are also providing grocery packets which includes 4-5 types of vegetables and delivering to individual flats and societies.
Estimated cost : approx ₹150 each packet x 500 = ₹75000 / day
Other overhead expenses like fuel, mask for volunteers, sanitation, disposable plates and cups, additional labour charges if needed. Also proving Tea to local police men working on streets : approx : ₹5000 per day
Estimated per day cost :
12500 + 50000 + 12500 + 75000 + 5000
= ₹155000 (targeting 500 people)
Note : we are providing meal packages to poor people who cannot cook food daily due to lockdown and delivering grocery packages to houses, flats and societies.
