My name is Shini and I am here to raise funds for my daughter Hazel Mariyam who is 5 years old. Hazel Mariyam lives in Ernakulam, Kerala with us.

HAZEL urgently needs a Meso Rex Shunt within weeks to save her life. The surgery will be done at Dr. Rela Institute and Medical centre, Chennai and they have given an estimate of Rs. 600000 as a package.  

A brief history of her treatment is given below:

She underwent a liver transplant in December 2015 for Biliary Atresia. The post-operative period was complicated by portal vein thrombosis for which she underwent relaparotomy and a proto caval Hemi transposition and proto caval shunt. This was followed by conduit thrombosis for which thrombolysis was attempted but eventually had to perform surgical thrombectomy followed by catheter thrombolysis.

She was shown variceal bleed and underwent  Masocaval shunt February 2019. suffering from Rex shunt in the past few months. She is currently admitted and receiving medication in the hospital.

Until now, we've spent about Rs. 250000 for liver transplant and further complications led to the expense of around 2700000 more. We've arranged the amount from savings.
