Life took an unexpected turn for them when my elder uncle started having severe stomach pain earlier this year. His food intake came down drastically and he has lost around 10 kg weight so far.

They went to many local doctors but nobody knew the cause of the ailment until their friends took them to an oncology specialist two months ago and he was diagnosed with colon cancer. 

Hariharan was taken for initial radiation therapy on 25 Oct and collapsed- going into emergency moments later. A big perforation was found in his stomach and he has been operated with the money we had in hand(~6 Lacs).

He needs further treatment in hospital while he recovers from this surgery and subsequently radiation/chemotherapy can be performed alongside another surgery to rectify the cancer. He is currently admitted and receiving Care at Private Hospital, in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Until now, we've spent about Rs. 6,00,000. We've arranged the amount from savings & loans.
