Objective:
Neonatal transport in India is still in its infancy. With the absence of any dedicated transport system for referred newborns, a major chunk of critical newborns unfortunately succumb to death soon after reaching tertiary centers. As a result, close to 40 per cent of neonatal deaths occur within first 24 hours of admission. Transporting a sick newborn to an equipped health facility is a challenge in India due to scarce and inequitably distributed health facilities and underdeveloped transport network.
There is an urgent need to have a NETA facility at a national level to provide adequate clinical support that is required for precious deliveries done in any of the hospitals which themselves may not have sufficient neonatology infrastructure to handle extreme pre-term deliveries or high-risk deliveries. Thus, Preventing Needless Neonatal Deaths.

Target Locations:
  1. Aurangabad District
  2. Jalana District
Procedure:
Our NETA will have GPS tracking system hence users will be able to track the nearest NETA and call it online. Beneficiary location will be asked, and he can share the same for easy and fast access for NETA. All such hospitals which do not have Neonatal Infrastructure, will display posters of this free facility in hospital receptions. Patient relatives can call on toll-free number or access through QR code on poster. NETA will be equipped with internationally accredited equipment and trained doctors (AYUSH) AND Nurse Assistants who can provide respiratory support and safe transfer to neonates. Everything will be done at no cost for local patients and minimal charges will be applied for inter-city transfers. However, donations through UPI/Phone pay/Google Pay etc. will be accepted.
We are committed to save 2500 lives by 2022.
