The Grand Bombay Circus was founded in 1920 and performed mainly in Punjab and Sindh. In 1947, it merged with two other companies to become the Great Bombay Circus. Since then, it has performed and entertained crowds across India and abroad.
The Great Bombay Circus marks its centenary this year – and it could be a case of 100 and out due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Having a strength of over 200 staff, the circus was stranded in MANNARGUDI, TAMIL NADU.
In the condition of zero revenue for months ahead, it is incredibly difficult to FEED & sustain the lives of people involved in the circus industry.
We require YOUR financial support to help:
1) To provide daily cooked meals for support staff, circus artists and their families
2) Help support the families through ration kits
4) To ensure their well being & prepare them for the challenges ahead by engaging them in re-skilling activities.
