The unique value of crowd funding is not just the funds but also to create a community that makes a difference to the lives around.
GIFV strongly believes and practices this.

Give India For Voiceless is a first-of-its-kind registered trust with  80G certification that supports medical emergencies of street animals and thus help rescuers who are always burdened with physical, emotional, and financial burden.

GIFV – was started in Feb 2016 in Bangalore to care for the street animal and to create an animal caring community which can make a difference to the lives of voiceless, whose very existence is dependent on us,humans.

Starting from 2016 March to Dec 2020 we have supported 1782 rescues ,1238 ABCs and 2125 CD and ARV vaccination. Thus,in total we have made a difference to 5145 voiceless animals till date.

GIFV ,a non profit charitable organisation  runs with the help of animal caring donors who can feel and understand the struggle of helpless animals to survive on the roads who are alway starved, abused, chased and injured due to humans' ignorance or lack of empathy.

Our vision is to develop a strong support system to needy street animals.
Our mission is to support street animal resucers who do a selfless  service of reaching out to suffering animals.

why should you support GIFV?
When you support GIFV you are not only helping in saving a life but you are also contributing in,
1. Reducing the load on shelters:
The timely medical intervention helps in better rehabilitation of the animals back in their territory.
2.Creating awareness :
When animals are rescued and supported it sensitises public to be more humane and reminds them of their duties towards the lives depending on their compassion.
3.Opportunity to do our bit:
Many a times a lot of people who care and love animals  may have some constraints to do anything by themselves but can definitely help rescuers to help the Animals.

GIFV  runs multiple initiatives for street dogs and cats including ongoing support for medical treatment for the ailing animals, accident victims. We also support Animal Birth Control (ABC) surgeries for both dogs and cats , encouraging adoption, vaccination drives for Rabies and deadly Canine Distemper and many others. We have seen all of it through the last few years – heart-breaking injuries, strong will to survive and live, remarkable recoveries, safer streets and so many happier lives.
With growing awareness of the activities of  GIFV the no of appeals for rescue support by the rescuers are also showing an increasing trend. And with just 150+ monthly donors ( members) we are hard pressed for funds to meet the appeals of rescuers. Hence, the need for funds as we would not like to turn down appeals that come to us for rescue support. .
Help us to help the voiceless by joining hands for the cause. With GIFV,
  • Get tax exemption for your donations through 80G
  • Complete transparency and accountability on fund usage
  • Guidelines and rules on how rescuers can claim reimbursement & check on authenticity
With the additional funds raised through this campaign, we not only can support all the appeals we receive every day but we also want to start more GIFV chapters & support every animal rescuer better.

Please donate any amount and it will surely make a difference to an animal’s life. Our hope is that no rescuer should think twice when he or she sees a suffering animal to extend help and no animal should suffer because of fund limitations.
