My father, Mr.George, suffered from a stroke and is paralysed. He had been admitted in the hospital for 2 months. We had paid Rs.3 lakhs for his treatment after which he was discharged. Then again a fits occurred and admitted hospital for 15 days. It has been 4 months and he is currently in my house and has lost the ability to move, speak and also eat food. He is currently being fed through a gastrostomy tube A tracheostomy is done because of this condition. He needs continuous physiotherapy and medical care. The monthly expenditure comes up to at least Rs.25000.
