Gautam Jha (17EC32005) is a fourth-year dual degree student from IIT Kharagpur (JCB Hall), whose family is currently facing huge adversity. His father, Mr Shrawan Kumar Jha is diagnosed with Chronic Liver Disease and is currently undergoing treatment at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurugram where he is on a ventilator in a severe condition. Mr Shrawan's condition prohibits the family from moving him to a different hospital. The family has run out of funds is struggling to bear daily expenses of nearly 1 lakh rupees.
We are reaching out to as many helping hands as we could and we urge the reader to donate whatever they can because Gautam and his family could really use our help to survive these hard times.
