Gaurav, an Uber driver, became the subject of a viral social media video following an encounter with passengers who spoke negatively about the people of our country. Gaurav calmly requested them to refrain from such comments, but when they persisted, he made the decision to drop them off at a safe location and end the ride. Despite handling the situation as calmly as possible, the passengers shared a selective part of the video online, leading to a backlash against Gaurav.

As a result of this incident, Gaurav has faced harassment, lost his job, and his car, and was even evicted from his rental home. He is now living under immense stress and has been struggling to find stability. While he has reached out to authorities for assistance, he has not yet received the support he needs.
