Dear caring hearts and well-wishers,
I'm Chandan Chirag, reaching out with folded hands during a tough time for my family. We including my sisters Maya, Prity, and Sawariya - we all are students in a critical phase in our lives.
After spending 45 to 50 challenging days at Ranchi Cancer Hospital in Kanke, Grandmother Fulmatia Devi, our pillar of support, our only support system, she was not just our grandma but also our mother, friend, source of income, and the sole earner. Her last moments were in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on life support, after being in life support continuous for a week. It was on October 20, 2023, when everything changed for our family. My sister was in college, attending classes when a heart-wrenching video call shattered our routine.
In a feeble voice, Grandma uttered words that still echo in my mind: "Beta, I'm not well, and I can't breathe. Please come to see me." Those words marked the beginning of the end of an era for us.
Later that morning, I had a tearful conversation with Grandma. "Please come, it's getting worse," she pleaded. He sensed the impending loss. Around 11 am, a compassionate nurse attempted to help by giving Grandma lemon water during another video call. Grandma expressed feeling a bit better, unaware those were some of her last coherent words.
By 1 pm that same day, Grandma's breath, the very essence of her strength, left her. We clung to the hope that her heart still beat, but by evening, that hope faded away. Her departure left a void in our lives that seems impossible to fill.
Grandma fought bravely against aggressive Anaplastic Metastatic Thyroid Carcinoma and lung cancer, undergoing multiple rounds of radiation and chemotherapy treatments. Despite her resilience, the cancer spread to lungs, and we lost a strong woman who had a profound impact on our family.
Now, in addition to the overwhelming grief, we are confronted with a mountain of pending bills and debts as a student it impossible to fight it alone.
Grandma, 67-year-old, a strong, hardworking woman with an unwavering spirit, earning a living by selling mahua wine, fruit and help us educating she has taken several loans for us to take admission in college. We exhausted all our savings and sold our lands to try and save her. The 12 lakhs we gathered from selling mahua wines, fruits and vegetables were used up in just 45 to 50 days on her treatment.
As a family of students, we find ourselves with no land, no income, and burdened by substantial bills and debts in life, and to fight this battle, it is becoming impossible for us, day by day, our all hope and future depends on the kind strangers like you all.

As a family of students without any source of income, we stuck in a difficult situation of life, coming out from this, feel like impossible for us, as the time passes. We and our grandma further taken loans for our education, for me and my two sisters Prity and Maya, as Prity is pursuing BCA integrated MCA but due to financial burden of our family, she had done intern as a recruiter which was giving her 10k monthly salary and that amount she had to manage everything, but as she is also from computer applications field, and due to studies pressure she had quit her intern as her dream is to become software engineer and in situation like this, as the time passes her hopes are getting down but she is still hoping that if situation becomes stable in future in life, she will get succeed and become great software engineer and Maya is pursuing BCA and in second year at present and smaller sister, Sawariya is just 13 year old and in 9th grade, and without any support clearing and managing everything all together has become increasingly impossible day by day. We all are in dilemma about the future and tackling this toughest situation of our life. Living without money is possible for us at this time, but with huge bills and debts in life, our lives are getting tougher and tougher day by day.
Your help can change our family life. Please, if possible, to help us in this critical situation of our life and save our family.
As students, your support can help us rebuild our lives and give new hope in life once again.
With Grandma's passing, a profound sense of loneliness has enveloped us. She worked tirelessly to support us in everything we need, sacrificing our land and resources to ensure that we can have good life in future. Grandma and I dreamed of many things about the future, but within a short span of 45 days, we lost her, leaving us in a different place in life

We sincerely request your support during this critical phase of our life. Your contribution, whether big or small, will be a lifeline for my family. Your generosity has the power to change our world.

Thanks, and regards.
God bless you all for being the most kindest in this world. 🙏
