The recent incidents of rain have created havoc in the lives of the people and Assam has been drowning. Millions of people have been affected and homes have been damaged in nature's wrath. As of now, around 7 lakh people have been affected and 9 deaths have been recorded over 27 districts due to the floods.

People are losing hope and it's time we join hands to rebuild homes and restore their hopes. Our organization has decided to bring a ray of hope through our "Flood Relief Project" that we have been doing for the last few years. With the donations received, we pledge to reach out to the families in need and look forward to supporting 1000 such families with a daily ration for one month. We request everyone to come forward and help us with this initiative.

The damage to the local area is unprecedented. Homes are destroyed, and livestock and pets are swept away in the destructive waters. The emergency response was immense -Government, NDRF, Police, and well equipped Fire Fighters and local heroes immediately attended to those trapped and in severe danger.
