    This fundraiser will benefit

    FEED THE POOR FOUNDATION GUWAHATI

    from Assam, India

A group of students of Gauhati Commerce College takes a new initiative, a movement, an idea which deals with activities to eliminate some of the worst scenarios in our societies like hunger, malnutrition, poverty, illiteracy, etc.
Most of our members are students and so far we have 15 members and more than 30 volunteers from different parts of the state of Assam. Every one of us is giving their best efforts to meet the primary objectives of our Team. Some of our primary objectives are-
  • To improve the status of health and hygiene of the society.
  • To create awareness for honour of food.
  • To create awareness for helping the poor.
  • To collect food and clothes from different sections and donate it.
  • To help and create awareness in critical conditions like pandemic, riots, strikes, etc.
Funds that will be collected will be used in feeding, clothing      and also by providing a token money to the needy ones.
Some of the moments of our projects have been uploaded on our page which can be viewed with the help of the link below-

So far we have done three major projects in which we have donated clothes as well as foods to the needy people. We have not approached any organization for financial support till now and doing this all on our own. We will be very helpful if anyone can donate some funds for our team so that we can keep on going with our work with much more intensity. We are writing it and asking for help because the situation is getting worse in most of the places of Assam. Many families are living their life like a nightmare. We will accept even a tiny amount according to your convenience. The amount may be tiny for most of us but it will mean a lot for the people suffering out there. Especially in a situation like Corona Virus Lockdown not only poor people but many animals are also suffering. Research suggests that helping others doesn’t just benefit the recipient, it pays dividends to your health, happiness, and well being too. We are working hard to bring positivity to society so we are expecting a positive response from the respective people of the society.
