As the Coronavirus pandemic grips countries across the world, the healthcare infra is challenged like never before. So far, over 101,400 people have been infected by the virus in Karnataka alone and over 1900 have lost their lives.

Established in 2018 by Cisco Bangalore employees. The Mission at “The Wave Charitable Trust" is development of underprivileged section of the society through educational & healthcare assistance. Registration No- BK IV-649 (2017-18) in Bangalore under Societies Registration Act 1960
What are we doing at The Wave Charitable Trust?
The Wave Charitable Trust in association with few passionate individuals and institutions has come together under the umbrella of ‘Medical Task Force’ and ‘Food Task Force’, focusing on providing assistance to the individuals and institutions involved in combating this pandemic.
The primary intent of this engagement is to enable the healthcare professionals to focus their energies on their core functions. As such we under the umbrella of Food Task Force are engaged in providing packed meals to the doctors, staff and patients at the institutions that we are supporting.
Currently we serve 3 meals a day to 2 institutions in Bangalore – Shifaa Hospital and VCare Hospital. Typically around 1200-1500 meals are served.
With so much uncertainty and concern surrounding the recent novel coronavirus, it’s easy to feel helpless—but there is something we can all do to help the fight against it.
The Wave Charitable Trust needs INR75,000/- per day. At an individual level, you can support trust financially and help us to sustain Feed the Need campaign for 30 days.
Not everyone can work on ground. We have chance to extend helping hand to the community and help during the time of the COVID-19 crisis by donating to NGOs who are working on ground to stop further spread of this virus.
Your little contribution will go a long way in ensuring that these NGO function efficiently without worrying about monetary concerns.

- The Wave Trust is running a community kitchen in collaboration with MTF (Medical Task Force) to prepare food packets for Healthcare Staff who are doing tireless service at Shifaa & VCare Hospitals in Bangalore.
- Daily 1200 to 1500 Food Packets are being distributed to Healthcare workers, staff, Patients and their attendants.
