In 2015, we were just an ordinary group of friends, going to University. One of us had this bitter experience of seeing the food at weddings and parties, being wasted with carelessness. We then started this little initiative, where people would give us a phone call if they had excess food left in huge quantities. We would collect it and distribute it to nearby slums.

Now, after 5 years, we are happy to say, that we now have the responsibility of 150 families. We regularly serve them food. Once a day, daily. We have been doing this for a while now, and we're now in need of funds, to be able to continue with this. Until now, we used to manage from our part time salaries, pocket money, donations. But as the number of children and their family members we serve has been increasing rapidly, we think this is the time we need some help.

Whatever donations we get from here, will be used entirely in cooking the food for those families. Especially kids. We won't use a single penny, otherwise. Not even transportation conveyance, etc.

I urge you to donate whatever you can. We promise to keep doing this for as long as we can! At least for a few years more :))

The funds raised, will last us for 3 more months :) (this amount is 50% of the total expense of cooking the food. The rest 50% will be bourne by us.)
