Sreechand Bose SA was our colleague at Oracle India and it was with great sadness & shock that we heard of his sudden demise early in December 2019.
Sreechand was diagnosed with brain tumor few years back for which he underwent a surgery. Early in 2019, it was diagnosed that the tumor had recurred and he underwent another surgery in October, 2019. He was on the road to recovery and was coming up well. On the evening of 07th December, he lost consciousness and was immediately rushed to the hospital, where he was brought without pulse. They revived him, and he was on ventilator support for two days. On 10th December, the doctors confirmed that he passed away.
It was quite a shocking news for his family and friends, who were hopeful of his return to work and normal life. He was just 30 years of age and was taken way too soon by a twist of fate.
He is survived by his family comprising of his dad - Sarachandra Bose, his mom - Ambili, his wife - Akhilasree and his 3-year old son Devansh.
We have initiated this fundraiser to help his family in this time of crisis. It is important that we stand by his family and provide help in ways possible by us. He was the only earning member of the family, and this fundraiser is intended to help secure his son's future.
