We, the friends of Mr. Santosh Kshirsagar, batchmates from B. Chem.Eng, 2003., Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai (formerly University Department of Chemical Technology, Mumbai) are making an appeal to you to join our hands in drive to create financial support for a heartfelt cause, a sudden demise, on 10th January 2025, leaving behind wife Mrs. Gangashri, 16-year-old IIT- aspirant son, Vedant and dependent parents.
Mr. Santosh, an avid believer in God, was a brilliant student from an interior village Shirur Anantpal, Dist. Latur, Maharashtra, who later made into India’s premium institute back in 1999 with an outstanding 12th grade score. Graduated in 2003, he worked in Pharmaceutical Industry developing low-cost life-saving drugs at India’s top pharmaceutical companies like Dr. Reddy’s Laboratory, and Biocon, and latest, he was employed in Alembic Pharmaceutical. Along the way, he touched upon hundreds of friends and colleagues with his witty, cheerful, and lighthearted approach to life.
This unimaginable tragic incident halted his journey and most importantly has invited unexpected financial challenges into the life of the family of our beloved friend who left us at such a young age of 42 years.
We, the batch of ICT’ 2003 have pledged to support the dreams which our dear friend Santosh had for his family, specially united to support the ongoing journey of 16-year-old IIT-aspirant, Vedant.
We request your kind support and to help his family to continue their hard-earned journey and realize his unfulfilled dreams cut short by a tragedy. Your generous support, no matter how small or big, will help the aggrieved family. We expect to raise about INR 2 crores ($ 250,000) which shall cover any ongoing liabilities and support the family in coming years till his son Vedant stands on his feet.
