Rahul Krishna (19/11/1996–2/9/2022) fondly known by his family as Unni, hailed from Murkaddi, Kumily, Kerala. Rahul is survived by his father Mr. Radhakrishnan, his mother Mrs. Girija Radhakrishnan, and younger sister Radhika Krishna. In Murkaddi, he was one of the kids all local elders leaned on to get things done — and it was his nature to help with a smile.
Rahul was a calm, shy, reserved small town boy who struggled and found a way to become the breadwinner for his family. He completed his MSc in Computer Science from the Institute of Human Resources Development College, Kattappana. He faced life’s harsh reality when he decided to work as a mason inspite of having a Masters degree. Eventually he joined us (Elev8) in a tech-operations role, where he served with a rigour and selflessness that is not normally possible. He had grown from strength to strength and had become an important cog in the operations of any tournament. All his colleagues knew him to be one of the most dedicated and hard-working members of the team. If Rahul took ownership of a task all of us could be rest assured that it would be done in time and done well. He enjoyed reading and watching comedy.
In the end, life has no meaning and suffering is the only thing that is real. To have endured so much suffering within himself leaves us heart-broken.
