Dear friends,

It is with profound grief and sorrow we inform the shocking and untimely demise of our beloved Narendra Rai a Superintendent of Customs. Narendra’s life was tragically cut short at the tender age of 45. We could not save him despite of trying our best.  

Narendra was not only a sincere, hardworking and dedicated officer but, an exceptional human being loved by one and all. While we feel the helplessness in not being able to save his life, there is also a sense of responsibility to extend best possible support to his family which is devastated by this inconceivable loss.

Narendra belongs from a very humble background and son of a farmer. Despite of this adversity, he achieved so much with his incredible resolve and determination and became a Gem of Officer, coming from a very remote area of Uttar Pradesh.  He was the sole earning member of his family. He has left behind his old parents, his wife and two loving daughters who were completely dependent on him not only emotionally but economically as well. He was the beacon of hope, love, and security for them. They were his world, he was planning and striving to make a better life for them, the reason he was so committed to his work. Narendra’s kids are of very small age, 6 & 13. They deserve opportunity to make their lives better. They need our support so that the dreams Narendra had visioned for them are realized.

In these unfortunate circumstances, we turn to you, his dear friends and well-wishers, to rally around the grief-stricken family in their darkest hour and extend the support which is desperately needed. We humbly request for your support and generosity as we join hands to raise funds for the family, to ease the burden that weighs heavily upon their shoulders.
