Dear All,
It is with a heavy heart that we share the loss of our dear colleague, Ms. Jainabee, a dedicated Lab Technician who served in the Hematology Department at Narayana Health for over 18 years. Jainabee, just 40 years old, was the sole breadwinner of her family and a pillar of strength to everyone who knew her.
Jainabee underwent what was expected to be a minor procedure for varicose veins—a condition she had been living with for 12 years. Tragically, she developed unforeseen complications after surgery and passed away, leaving behind two young children—a daughter in 9th standard and a son in 3rd standard—and a husband who will not be single-handedly manage everything.
Jainabee's story is one of resilience. Orphaned at the age of 12, she raised her younger brother and sister while growing up in an orphanage in Bangalore. Despite her hardships, she built a life for her family through sheer determination. Sadly, her brother is no longer in contact with her, and while her sister is willing to help, her own situation is complicated with two children and familial challenges.
Jainabee leaves behind not just memories, but also financial burdens, including a home loan that threatens the only roof her children have. As friends, colleagues, and a family that worked alongside her for nearly two decades, we are initiating a fundraiser to support the loan as well as help Jainabee’s children - for their education, daily needs, and stability.
We request your generous support in keeping her legacy alive by helping provide a secure future for her children.
With gratitude,
Dr. Santosh
