My husband, Durga Prasad Panda (age 31), was found COVID positive on 13th April 2021 and was struggling to maintain his oxygen level. Eventually, he had to be shifted on a ventilator, and later his lungs were operated yet no sign of recovery. Unfortunately, the situation has gotten worse when he went into an unconscious state and to date is in the same condition.

The doctor’s recommendation is that he has to go thru ECMO treatment immediately to provide artificial respiratory support because all other forms of support have failed and reached a critical level. He is currently in SUM hospital, Bhubaneshwar where doctors are unable to perform ECMO treatment. They have suggested moving him to another specialized hospital.
We have found that Kims Hyderabad does such treatments in volume with a high success rate. So we are planning to shift him there.

Durga is a young technocrat and true fighter with a strong will. He needs your financial support along with your good wishes. The medical procedures will cost at least INR 55 Lakhs. Post-transplant cost estimate would be further added to the current cost estimate.
