My name is Dr. Joseph, and I am an Orthodontist based in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. I am writing to you today with a heavy heart to share the urgent medical condition of my beloved wife, Dr. Regi Mathew, a dedicated Radiologist. She is 54 years old and has been battling a severe and progressive illness for over a year now—Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD).
As a healthcare professional, Dr. Regi has always dedicated her life to caring for others, but now, it is our turn to ask for your help in her fight for life. Dr. Regi is currently undergoing treatment at Yashoda Hospital, Secunderabad where she is receiving the necessary medication. However, despite these efforts, her condition is worsening, and her doctors have confirmed that she now needs a lung transplant to survive.
Until now, we have exhausted all our savings and taken loans amounting to Rs. 2,00,000 to manage the treatment costs. But, the next phase of her treatment— bilateral lung transplantation—requires an additional Rs. 50,00,000. We are humbly reaching out to you for support, as this cost is beyond our financial capability.
