What started like a dream 4 years ago is looking at a grim end now. Our first venture, started in 2017, was a cafe managed and run completely by people with Hearing and Speech impairment (deaf & mute). And our second venture, which opened in 2019 was a restaurant managed and run by people with Dwarfism. Both these places in Koramangala, Bengaluru, received massive responses and were always rated among the top 5 in Bangalore.
Over the course of these 4 years , we have employed 50+ people with disablities in both the places.
But unfortunately the COVID-19 pandemic was really hard on us and after burning out everything we had, and with very little support around, we had to take the hard painful decision of shutting both the places down.

The specially abled staff from both these places had nowhere to go and many of them are working for the very first time in their lives.
Unable to let the staff go, we pulled in everything we had and we put all of these superheroes together and started a new place called *Dhwani* in January 2021. We wanted to continue being their voice.
Just when things were looking better, the pandemic struck again and now the whole world is fighting for survival. We are fighting for it too... but for the second time around. With all the resources maxed out, we turn to this fundraising campaign in a hope that there is still light at the end of the tunnel.
