My name is Sagar and I am here to raise funds for my relative Devi Sri Prasad who is 3 years old. Devi Sri Prasad's parents are working as a private employee. Devi Sri Prasad lives in Gollaprolu, East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh with parents.
Devi Sri Prasad has been suffering from the heart disease for the last 3 years. Doctors have noticed that there was a difference in the sound of the heartbeat from the month of birth and the scanning has showed the "aerotic valve" in the heart is blocked which caused the obstruction to the blood supply. Doctors have advised “Angio Gram” and the same has been performed in 2016 at Star Hospital, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. It costed them more than 2 lakhs. After a month, doctors have observed a leakeage in the "aerotic valve" and told that if the leakage becomes severe then the boy has to undergo the "open heart" surgery. The hyderabad doctors have referred to the Bangalore RxDx hospital and Columbia Asia hospital. Since then the boy is under medication and they have been visiting the bangalore every 3 months for medical check up. During the recent visit in December 2019, the doctors have found the leakage of the valve was very high and the left side of the heart has increased in size and the pumping has decreased. They have recommended "Open Heart ROSS Surgery" as early as possible. This operation is very difficult since it has to be continuously performed for several hours to remove the "Aerotic Valve" on the left side of the heart and replace it with the "Pulmonary Valve" from the right side and install the Artificial Valve in place of "Pulmonary Valve" on the right side. The doctors said that the operation will cost up to Rs.6,00,000/-. The parents of the boy are waiting for the financial help to save the heart of Devi Sri Prasad.
