It is with a heavy heart that we want to inform you that our dear friend, Deepak Kumar Ghimere’s wife passed away last week in a tragic accident. This was an unfortunate and unexpected event, as you can all imagine, and has left Deepak in a difficult situation – both psychologically and financially. Deepak has two young middle school boys and aging parents that he needs to take care of. Due to Covid, their small business (run by his wife) was severely impacted, creating a serious financial liability for Deepak now. Sadly, his father-in-law also had passed away 2 weeks ago. The associated health care expenses for him are fairly large and have further exacerbated the situation.
Some of us got together and brainstormed on how we could help our dear friend in such distress and determined that the best way would be for us to contribute money to help pay outstanding health care bills and the business liability that Deepak now has become solely responsible for, along with creating an endowment for children’s education. This will be critical to his family, as she financially supported not just  her family in a substantial way, but also her extended family.
This of course, will do little to help him with the sorrow of losing a loved one and the mother of two, but we hope it will ease some of the financial stress that he is going through.

Last, but not the least, Deepak’s wife was a very kind-hearted, sincere, and helpful businesswoman who always went the extra mile to help people in need. As a recent example: despite the severe COVID impact to her own income, she actively supported daily wage workers during the pandemic lockdowns in the neighborhood by providing food and arranging shelter to help them through the dire situation.
It is time for us to now help their family - please generously contribute!
