Hi! I'm Deanne Fernandes, an artist based in Goa. After graduating as a Sociologist, from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai, I worked as an Art Educator for 4 years and helped over 100 students apply to and secure a seat at their dream university by guiding them on their portfolio and application process.

Working at the Academy took me a step closer to fulfilling my childhood dream of becoming an illustrator and storyteller. However due to financial circumstances and a global pandemic, I couldn't fulfill that dream for 6 years.

In October 2021, I took the leap of faith and applied for Art school with the last of my savings. It was a dream come true to get admitted into Rhode Island School of Design, USA for Fall 2022.

My talent and perseverance helped me reach this far. However I'm in need of financial resources to move further as I have no financial backing.
