Amidst the second wave of this pandemic, S.T.A.R.K foundation & Sourabh Goyal Memorial Relief Society (registered organisations) have been trying their best to contribute towards the welfare of the Bikaner city and its residents. We are a group of IIT/IIM/UCLA graduates who are working as a part of the above mentioned organizations in the COVID relief support segment.
In the last 10 days, we have managed to deliver over 1000+ free food-packets and water bottles to COVID patients at their door steps, throughout the city. Currently, we are serving 150+ meals on a daily basis.

1) Contributors have the option to update the Milaap tip (can be even set as 0) that is added by default while making the donation.

Fund Raising
We started this initiative keeping a total of 1000 meals as our first milestone and have been utilising the funds from our own savings so far. Owing to the growing crisis, as more and more people have reached out to us for help, we have decided to continue serving the needful, and would need your help in taking this further.

Focus areas
- To provide quality food and clean drinking water to COVID patients (Three meals/day).
- Distribution of ration packets to 100+ families of daily wage workers.
- Free home sample collection for RT-PCR test of people aged 75+.
- Awareness drives in COVID hotspots.
- Vaccination awareness campaign in rural areas.
Transparency and Accountability
Primary expenses & underlying calculations:1. Meals (includes packaging & delivery charges): Total expense of ₹ 4,75,000 (100*190*25).
- On average 100 patients per day
- Three meals/day with total cost of ₹ 190/day (40+75+75)
- Breakfast: ₹ 40 per meal
- Lunch: ₹ 75 per meal
- Dinner: ₹ 75 per meal
- Provided for a total of 25 days
*We ensure that the provided meal boxes are healthy and of premium quality (as advised for recovering COVID patients)
2. Ration Packages: Total expense of ₹ 2,40,000 (100*800*3)
- On average 100 families per week
- Ration package of ₹ 800 per family per week (avg. family size of 5 members)
- Provided for a total of 3 weeks
- On average 20 samples collected per day
- Technician fee of ₹ 200/sample
- Provided for a total of 25 days
Under our initiative, we pledge to maintain complete transparency of the financials associated, and keep campaign donors/viewers posted on the updates.
