The funds will be used for the following purposes covering 1 year of operation of Bridges Learning Vidyalaya: Books, uniforms, teaching aids, and 3 times meals for 250 Children with Special Needs. Just 500 rupees can cover the meals and educational materials for 2 children over 2 weeks. Kindly support these children!
The school is committed to creating a space as well as an environment where dyslexic students, Children affected with Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, slow learners, or underachievers are given enough stimulation to match up their performance at par with normal children according to his/her ability keeping their academic progress in mind by providing vocational training and empowering their self-sustainability and future livelihood.
Along with our 500+ students seeking differential learning assistance for Inclusive Education, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Therapeutical Cognitive Learning as a service to the disabled community, we have also adopted 60 orphan & semi orphan children ranging from 8 years to 18 years, including 18 girls, providing them free education, & other basic Amenities, support continues till their completion of college education and till they get employed.
As the majority of our children hail from illiterate families along with other co-morbid conditional factors affecting special needs children, parental acceptance and therapeutical special education become a challenging factor. By taking into prognosis from our students' enrolment, 75% of the children are struggling learners, special needs children, from poverty, are being offered quality education free of cost, and the remaining 25% of the children have been offered remedial education, speech & occupational therapy at varied fee concessions based on their financial background.
The school supports a residential care home for orphan, semi orphan, special needs abandoned street children, affected due to parents runaways, child abuse, trafficking, illegal marriages, and alcoholics who were left out in the adoption system.

We have been in a rented building since 1995, ever since the inception of the School, with more than 90% of revenue compromised, we are coping in this competitive field to meet the inflating expenses of the organization, purely by serving the children with differential needs.
The school serves the Aurobindo Society on Project Inclusion, the Government of Puducherry- Directorate of School Education, the Social Welfare Department, KV Sangathan, NCERT, Army Welfare Education Society, CBSE Association of Schools, and parents by creating awareness modules and demonstrative lectures on their capacity building program. The school also works with the Aurobindo Educational Society to provide training programs to special needs teachers. In 2020, the school received the best school award from Hon. Lt. Gov. Kiran Bedi and the Govt. of Puducherry for continuous successful results of slow learners and dyslexic students in the 10th and 12th CBSE Board Examinations. Many of the students are now doctors, engineers, and MBAs.
