Rashtrotthana Parishat that runs the school in Munganahalli, a remote village about 100 kms from Bangalore. Despite its distance and location, the school has been run very efficiently by Shri Seshanna, a very dedicated person. I have had the privilege of visiting the school a couple of times and was impressed with the quality of education being imparted to students- most of whom are children of bonded labourers.
During covid, the trust management continued to pay salaries to teachers, and with no fees coming in, reserves have been used up.
With the possibility of schools opening up, Shri Seshanna believes the current bus, that is more than 20 years old will be difficult to maintain with repeated repairs coming up. They are therefore looking for help on procuring a bus, where children come in from beyond 20 kilometres. The bus and the mid-day meal are attractions for students to continue their education.
The quotations from various dealers are attached.
