A Mother’s Plea to Save My Son – Please Help Us Fight for His Life
My name is Ruhina Taj, and I am reaching out with a mother’s desperate plea. My beloved son, Mohammed Shehezan, just 4 years old, is fighting for his life against an incredibly rare and aggressive form of lung cancer—a high-grade lymphoma.
Our world shattered in January 2023 when doctors told us the unimaginable: our little boy had cancer. At an age where he should be playing, laughing, and dreaming about the future, he was instead enduring grueling chemotherapy and radiation treatments. My husband and I poured our entire life savings—15 lakh rupees—into his treatment, doing everything in our power to save him. After months of pain and endless hospital visits, we dared to hope.
But our nightmare returned. After just 10 months, his tiny body was once again attacked by the same ruthless cancer. He now suffers from severe coughing, relentless fever, and terrifying difficulty breathing. The doctors have confirmed that the cancer has spread inside his lungs. Without immediate treatment, my son will not survive.
The initial treatment alone requires 30 lakh rupees, including a bone marrow transplant. The full treatment over a year will cost nearly 1 crore rupees. This is an amount we simply cannot afford. As parents, we feel helpless watching our child suffer, knowing that the only thing standing between him and survival is money.
This is why I am humbly, desperately reaching out to you. Please, if you are reading this, I beg you to help us save our son.
