My 13-year-old niece, Avani, has cancer [Lymphoma],

She's losing her life, even though it's curable.

Reason?

• She comes from an Indian village.

• Belongs to a poor family.

• Her father works in a sweet factory for an 8k month salary.

Despite his poor financial capacity, he took Avani to a private hospital for the best cure.

But that hospital,
• Failed to cure Avani.
• Gave half & improper treatment.
• Focused more on printing money.

After Spending:
• 5,00,000+ rupees
• All the little assets they had
• 25 days in hospital with zero results

Avani's parents were knocked out 360°
• Mentally
• Financially
• Emotionally

But,

Parents being parents,

They didn't give up. They collected their shattered hopes.

And this time, they took Avani to Bhim Rao Ambedkar Memorial Hospital [Mekahara]-  a renowned government Cancer hospital in Raipur.

Things turned south.

Avani's situation worsened more than ever before there.

She couldn't:

• Breathe
• Lie down
• Sit straight.

Avani spent 2 days and 2 nights only sitting in a complicated position. [Pictures attached in the last]

We could not recognize her.

Due to excessive fluid in the lungs, Avani's face, neck, and eyes were swollen up.

She was on an oxygen mask 24/7.

On 7th November, Avani's condition deteriorated to such an extent that she was kept on a life support system [Ventilator].

Doctors in Mekahara Hospital:
• Showed high negligence.
• Top-level carelessness.
• Unprofessional and unethical behavior.

They,

• Delayed Avani's treatment for 10 days.

• Visited her only once a day
[sometimes not even once]

• Lacked every important resource cancer patient needs.

I [Avani's Massi] recognized the carelessness of the hospital staff & doctors since day 1.

But failed to convince Avani's parents to change the hospital.

They were reluctant to shift her to another hospital because they lost all they had on Avani's earlier treatments.

Avani was hanging in between life and death.

In that situation, I had only 2 alternatives left:

• Believing the assumptions of the careless doctors who:

- Didn't do her Biopsy.
- Didn't Test her body.
- Didn't give her timely treatment.
- And stated that Avani won't survive.

Or,

• Making a hard decision of taking Avani to a good cancer hospital before it's too late.

I chose the 2nd option.

I couldn't see my girl die,
just because of money.

Life isn't inferior to a piece of paper.

Any day, it's above everything.

Though risky, the decision turned out right.
Avani is alive today.

But,
How long she will?

You hold the power to decide.

Lymphoma is curable,
Avani just needs the right treatment.

And the right treatment isn't possible without money.

I need money for my niece's treatment.

I know:
• You don't know Avani.
• You don't know me.

You, I, and Avani have no relationship to name.

But one thing binds us all,
And it's "Life" itself.

The heart that beats within you is the heart beating within Avani.

For the sake of it,

Please help me save her.
Please help me buy her life.

She has compromised all her life,
Settling for less, all the time.

But I cannot see her compromise on life.

My girl needs you.
Utterly.

You can help her:

• Life, live again.
• Heart, beat again.
• Lungs, breathe again.
• Childhood, return again.

Every single penny you donate,
Buy Avani a heartbeat.

Please.
Consider my request.

Avani sat like this for 2 days & 2 nights straight.

Because this was the only position that helped her breathe.
