My name is Azhar Najeer Nadaf, and I am the father of Yusuf, an 8-month-old brave baby boy diagnosed with a rare and life-threatening condition called Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA Type 1).

Yusuf was born healthy, but within a few months, we noticed he wasn’t able to lift his head, sit, or even move his legs like other babies. After multiple tests, our worst fear came true – he was diagnosed with SMA, a progressive genetic disorder that weakens the muscles and affects movement, swallowing, and even breathing.

🔴 The only hope for Yusuf is Zolgensma – the world's most expensive one-time gene therapy, costing ₹16 Crores. In addition, he requires Risdiplam oral solution worth ₹84 Lakhs to support his condition over the next year.

Together, we urgently need to raise ₹16.84 Crores to save our child’s life. Yusuf is currently receiving care at Dr. DY Patil Medical College, Pimpri (Pune).
