Beginning in 2013, and now an annual tradition, ChandiGarv has been hosting LGBTQI Pride every year in the City Beautiful - Chandigarh!! This year is our EIGHTH and we have partnered with Furever Friends - an NGO working for rescue animals. Pride will be held on 22 March 2020.
Everyone, regardless of their gender identity or sexuality, gets together to celebrate Pride! Like every year, ChandiGarv kicks off a week-full of Pride activities - panel discussions, movie screenings, meet & greets, game day... and, for the first time ever, a beauty pageant - crowning a Mr/Ms/Mx ChandiGarv (3 titles).
This march welcomes everyone with open arms as we celebrate our identities and our communities. It is a joyous occasion, one that is open to all. However, to ensure we do justice to Pride, we need to raise funds. Since we are not raising corporate funds, we rely on individual contributions.
Your generous donations will be used for Pride week events as under -
