Do you know what is the distance between Chennai to Bihar? Google says it’s 1798 Kms by road. This is the story of many nameless faces we meet on the highway of the city of Visakhapatnam. Some were on cycles and some on foot.
After 45 days of service in the City of Visakhapatnam we are looking towards the highways to help every migrant laborer walking through our city. We are providing them food and other essentials which they need for their long journey home. We know most of them will be able to complete their journey back home someway or the other and we are sorry for the ones that couldn’t and lost their lives in this attempt to beat hunger in a city far away from their homes. 1. food
2. water
3. medicines
4. other essentials
the migrants would need on their road back home.
But, We have funds enough to run this service for 2 more days. We would need INR 20,000 on a daily basis to sustain this programme and we need your help in this. Please support us so that a migrant worker doesn't sleep hungry tonight.
