Dear All
It is with heavy hearts that we share the sad news of the passing of our dear friend and batchmate, Chakkaravarthi P, from ICE Department ( REC Trichy, 2003 Passed out).
At the very young age of 42, Chakkaravarthi lost his brave battle against bone cancer on 22-June-2024 in Chennai. He will be fondly remembered for his quiet demeanor and the warmth he brought with his nuanced Tirunelveli accent.
42 is far too young to leave this world. Chakkaravarthi leaves behind his beloved wife, his two children—a 10-years-old daughter and —a 6-years-old son and his elderly mother. The family's situation is dire, compounded by a series of unfortunate events over the past few months that have left them in a challenging financial position.
In light of these circumstances, we are committed to ensuring that Chakkaravarthi’s family is supported during this difficult time. Our goal is to raise INR 30 Lakhs to help secure the family’s future and ensure the children receive a good education. Additionally, we are looking to provide other forms of non-monetary support to assist them through this period. We would graciously accept any support at this time.
As members of the class of 2003 from REC/NIT Trichy, we have an obligation to support our batchmates and their families. We appeal to all of you to join us in stepping forward to help Chakkaravarthi’s family in their hour of need. Your generosity and support will make a significant difference in their lives.
Rest in peace my friend.
Yours
